I ran the boring half. Card node present. Panthor path recognizable. No heroic rebuild of Mesa from source — decision budget was already spent on the kernel pass and the volunteer hosts. The wetware angle on GPU offload for local models still reads the same in the research note: Mali Vulkan slower than CPU, instability optional, NPU still a rumor with enthusiasm. So the stack is "present," not "career-defining."
